BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

Welcome back to my blog! I know that it’s been an incredibly long time since I last posted. Though I may have stepped away for a while, that hasn’t stopped me from doing what is most important—writing the story.

STATE OF THE STORY

First, I want to give an update on where the story stands. In my last update, I posted that the one story had to become three.

What started as a single story has grown into something much larger—and has officially become a trilogy. And I’m incredibly proud of that.

Today, I’m announcing the official title of the first book in the series and giving you a sneak peek.

A SONG OF SAGES

Every epic fantasy story starts with a name that captures its soul. I definitely know that the series name “A Song of Sages” perfectly captures the essence of what our heroes and villains, will be wrestling with.

This series will follow our cast as they piece together shards of the past, uncovering how the mysterious Sages influenced the balance of the universe and held the dark forces at bay. Through their trials they will face questions of the past, the cost of power, and the true meaning of good and evil in the world.

BOOK 1: THE SAGE’S PENDANT

Damien is a soldier of the Southern Legion—a Crimson Cloak Ranger forged in a war against the magi. For years, he’s fought to suppress their kind, driven by the memory of the mage who murdered his mother.

Victory should have meant peace.

Instead, it brings devastation.

When Damien returns home, he learns that his beloved Misty has fallen victim to the very enemy he swore to destroy. With nothing but vengeance burning in his heart, he re-enlists to join the Legion in one final mission: to uncover the lost city of Miren and wipe the magi from the world forever.

But when Damien inherits a mysterious pendant tied to the long-forgotten Sages, everything he believes begins to unravel.

Damien’s journey uncovers secrets he was never meant to know. And as the line between ally and enemy blurs, Damien must confront a truth more dangerous than any mage:

What if the war he’s been fighting is built on a lie?

WHEN WILL IT BE DONE?

The good news is that I haven’t just finished the first book, but I am halfway through writing the third book in the trilogy.

Book one is going into editing and polishing this summer with an aim to release by holiday season 2026.

OTHER WORKS

Though A Song of Sages is my main focus, I currently have three other stories that I’m working on outside of this series, and as I get more of a semblance of what those stories look like, I will be sure to release news on them!
